Ytel COVID-19 Compliance Requirement Notification

With the uncertainty and quickly changing landscape of business due to COVID-19, Ytel is here to assist with your communication needs. We understand that communication remains key but also must adapt to fit the current times and communication requirements.  We will be proactively monitoring any communication, through our network, to determine whether it is in compliance with all regulations, to protect companies and consumers.

Pursuant to recent FCC directives, any COVID-19 communications to end users, must meet the following criteria:

  • Official Use by a Federal, State or Local Government Agency
  • Hospitals, Doctors, and Medical related communications
  • Notifications from Schools and Churches
  • Non-profit fundraising
  • Business to Employee Communications
  • Critical Services
  • Business status announcements and notifications

Violation:

Any communications in violation of the COVID-19 policy will be immediately inactivated, by use of one or more of the following:

  • Notification via an email;
  • Notification via a phone call;
  • Account inactivated;
  • Forward all complaints to the FCC and/or FTC.

Investigation: 

If the communication does not strictly follow the criteria, but is not in violation, then we will initiate an investigation of your use case, which may include:

  • An email to request further information followed by a Phone Call if necessary;
  • A 2-hour timer to respond and resolve the issues;

If the communication use case is not resolved, or is found to be in violation then the account will be suspended, and you will receive any of the following:

  • Notification via an email;
  • Notification via a phone call;
  • Account suspension
