We're sharing our favorite tools, apps, and software that assists our team with staying organized and on the same page day in and day out. While some of these tools are free and some are paid services, you'll find that they all have something unique they can offer your team to boost productivity, creativity, and overall motivation.

Slack

Slack is a communications tool that can be used for businesses within teams, for individual chats between two people, and much more, all through Slack channels. Make a channel for a project, a topic, a team, or anything—everyone has a transparent view of all that’s going on. For sensitive information, create private channels and invite a few team members to get things done. 


Hubspot

Hubspot is an all-in-one marketing and sales software platform that can house your CRM, blog, email marketing, and much more. The Ytel team uses both the Marketing & Sales side of Hubspot for everything aforementioned, and we are consistently testing out their new integrations and add-ons as they release them. Hubspot is a powerful tool that takes our marketing and sales to the next level, and is easily the most intelligent and user-friendly CRM we've used.


Zapier

Zapier moves information between web applications automatically, so you can focus on your most important work. For example, we use Zapier to send information from Hubspot to Slack about new leads that come through, new blog subscribers, etc. Zapier integrates with apps such as Facebook Lead Ads, Slack, Quickbooks, Google Sheets, Google Docs and many more. 


Intercom

Intercom is a messaging platform that offers live chat, ramps up onboarding through targeted email and in-app messages to onboard, upsell, and retain customers, and offers customer support through an integrated help desk and knowledge base.

Google Hangouts

Need a quick video chat with a remote employee? No problem. Jump on Google Hangouts and get your meeting taken care of! Google Hangouts is a free feature (with a Gmail account) that allows up to 25 people in one meeting room at a time. Perhaps your team is all over the globe; that works too. We use Google Hangouts for internal product demos and trainings, meetings with virtual teams, and to have all our offices synced up throughout the day. 


Sonos

The Sonos app lets you choose what to play, where to play it, and how loud. In one room or all over your office. Track down songs across all your music services with a single search. Create playlists in an instant. The Sonos app does it all. The Ytel team enjoys creating unique playlists and getting in early to choose which genre will kick off the day.


Authy

Authy is a two-factor authentication to protect employees, customers and partners from hacking that works across multiple devices; so if you lose your phone, you don't lose access. Passwords aren't enough anymore—use a second factor to confidently verify users' identity and protect your app or service from data loss, fraud, and malicious attacks.


Tallie

For team members who travel on the job, there's Tallie! Tallie is a comprehensive, cloud-based expense report software that is designed by CPAs for CPAs. It offers an easy-to-use mobile app where users can simply take photos of their receipts and submit expense reports while traveling.


HootSuite 

Hootsuite helps you manage all your social media from one place. Save time by managing all of your social media marketing efforts from a single dashboard. With Hootsuite's platform, you get the tools to manage all your social profiles and automatically find and schedule effective social content.


Bitly

Shorten, brand and optimize your shared links across devices and channels using bit.ly. Then, you can track individual link analytics, gather audience intelligence and measure campaign performance in one location. Finally, collect insights on your performance and optimize your marketing efforts to better fit your audience needs.

Hiring is hard. There's no doubt about that... especially when you're in a startup environment. As you experience quick growth, you've got to find the right people that fit your company's needs, and find them fast! Indeed is a startup’s best friend.
